You will have to try to determine the extent of the damage. Did you lose the hard drive? Can you Repair it?
Boot to the XP setup CD, or any other way possible for your system to start the Recovery Console.
From the prompt:CHKDSK /R

Hi
After a power failer, I am able to turn on my computer and windows XP window
seems to be loading up, but then I see a black screen with a white cusor.
I have tried to rebooted it and then press F8-I have tried to boot from the
last know config and safe mode, but nothing.
Any sugestions?
