Re: Download dialogue box doesn't give option to open

You set this for each file type, e.g. for .zip
Windows Explorer-Tools-Folder Options-File Types
Find the .zip association
Edit, (or click Advanced on ME or XP) and check the "Confirm open
after download" box

The path to Folder Options may vary according to your operating
system. It may be:
Windows Explorer-View-Folder Options
Windows Explorer-Tools-Folder Options
Start-Settings-Folder Options
Start-Settings-Control Panel-Folder options.

Suddenly my machine has decided that when I try to download a video file it
will only give me the 'Save' option.

How can I get the 'Open' option back so I can choose which option to take.

Any idea as to how I lost it in the first place would be welcome!

Thanks,
