Thank you for your reply.
I went to the link, and followed the instructions for Method 3-"Rename the
Catroot2 folder", and tried to install Net Framework and got the following
error message.
.NET Framework 1.1 setup.ese is not a valid Win32 application.
I then tried Method 1, and got the same error message.
Should I try all of them or is there another.Net Framework that I should
download?

I need to install .NET Framework but have been having not been able to.
My
Kodak All in One 5300 printer/scanner needs it.
I have tried to install it from my XP disk but get an error message. I
have
search google, Micosoft everywhere for a fox, but get confusing info. I
called Kodak, but they refered me to Micosoft for the solution.
When I try to open my Kodak AiO program I get the following error
message;
Please set registry Key HKLM\software\microsoft\.net framework\install
root
to point to .net framework install location.
Net frameework is not installed on my computer, I cannot get it to
install,
I am running XPsp2, Windows 32, Intel 4, 1GB ram.
Can anyone direct me to a solution?
