I uninstalled and reinstalled the keyboard driver but the problem
continues. The only way I can get it to work is to do an error-check (disk
check) after a hard shutdown. I really don't want to have to resort to
using a USB keyboard as all my USB ports are already in use. My machine is
about 7 years old but has never given me any trouble until now. Any
thoughts at this point? Please read 1/13 post for important details.
Thanks.
