Generally only Warning or Error Reports are of interest. Post 3 examples
and we will see what they are saying.
Event ID: 7035 is simply teling you the named service has started or
stopped:
http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=7035&eventno=1530&source=Service%20Control%20Manager&phase=1
Event ID: 7036 is much the same:
http://www.eventid.net/display.asp?eventid=7036&eventno=1529&source=Service%20Control%20Manager&phase=1

Hope this helps.

I'm looking at the System log with Event Viewer. There are over
2700 entries for Service Control Manager in the log. In fact there
are so many that the log only has entries for the last hour or so.
All entries are event 7035 or 7036. There are no errors, but
clearly something is going on with SCM to be running almost
constantly.
I'd appreciate some help.
thanks
It's not normal for my system. In the past I was able to see the
System log for several days. Now because there are so many SCM
messages I only see the last hour.
