how to tell if power supply or CD-Rw casuse BSOD crashes

I was using CD drive in read mode while I was comparing tow files, one
from CD-ROm, one from an Raid 5 array of 3 seagate SATA 2 drive of 80GB
each. there are two other IDE drive on the same 450 W power supply.
there was no hard drive or raid failure message aroudn time of crashes.
