After help is running, turn off sys restore, and restart, and then turn it
back on. This will lose all old points, but the restore will work again.
start/run, type:
sysdm.cpl
see restore tab.

on XP Pro.
The result is that both "Help and Support" and "Restore Point UI" utilities
do not open. (The former runs with a blank scree, the latter does run at
all.) Thankfully, I created a restore point (and I presume that this backs up
the registry too) but NOW I cannot go back to restore to that restore point.
How can I get my "Help and Support" and "Restore Point UI" utilities working
again?
I did an sfc check and all seems OK.
Any help would be REALLY appreciated :-(
