Please try the IE7 group for the IE7 part.
The recommended newsgroup is microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
In a proper newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.internetexplorer.general
If you must use a web interface:

In IE 7 (but not in Mozilla, for instance), the "open in a new window"
function is not working anymore. When I try it I can see for a very quick
while a little window saying "Microsoft Installer is..." but I can't read
more, since it is very quick.
