Personally, I never use the caps lock key on purpose, and to avoid
hitting it by accident, I have it turned of altogether.
If you would like to do the same, try using SharpKeys at
http://www.randyrants.com/sharpkeys/ I use it to turn off the two keys
I never want to use: Caps Lock and Insert.
