My brother, who is a computer expert, told me that by having the
"Google Search" box in my computer also allowed "Malware" to enter my
system and really SCREWED IT UP so after I deleted the Google Search
box everything returned to normal.
Suenote
It is open to debate whether the Google Toolbar (I assume that is what you
mean) leaves the user's computer vulnerable to malware or not. Fact is,
that it tends to "screw up" certain functions in Internet Explorer, and is
therefore best gotten rid of.
