I never had any problem like this at all until last month's (November) updates. Is there a specific one of the November MS updates believed to be the culprit that I could uninstall?

Yes. This is the oldest complaint on the boards. Some update has a collision with something added to Windows, and the assumption is that it is a bug. The unavoidable conclusion to the debate is to install clean, and update. The error always goes away till something else is added to the system. (IPod being candidate number one of the thousands that might do it.)> I haven't tried this month's (December) MS updates yet because I noted all the complaints about the one that causes IE 6 problems. But it did prompt me to try IE 6 for the first time since installing last month's updates (I surf with a Mozilla browser). Low and behold, IE 6 could not access any web sites.
Drivers and software become outdated. OEM's are in a constant battle to keep up with changes in security needs, just as surely as an antispy app constantly needs a new data file.
Is there something from last month's November) MS updates that may cause this problem?
