Stop c000021a {Fatal System Error} - Session Manager
Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry
Does anyone know the specifics of following Windows XP error?
The session manager initialization system process terminated unexpectedly
with a status of 0xc0000034 (0x00000000, 0x0000000) The system has been shut
down.
I got this on my laptop at the BSOD, and now it won't boot in any mode. Does
this indicate a HW or SW problem? I am inclined to believe that this is
driver related as it occurred after I updated my TrendMicro virus pattern
files, some of which changed the drivers in my System32 folder.
I would like to troubleshoot and restore my system without resorting to
wiping my drive. I only have the OEM disk and not Windows XP. But, I do have
a system restore disk which I got from another OEM when my desktop crashed.
Thanks.
