Finds New Hardware (Glidepoint/UltraNav) on every boot

My IBM Z61m PC "finds" new hardware every time I turn it on. It is always
the UltraNav pointing device. I believe it's a Synaptics product but it came
with the machine. It has the touchpad and the pointing device (it's a
laptop). Why doesn't that device stay installed? I have reinstalled the
driver many times. It also complains about the driver not being digitally
signed. I found a setting somewhere that said to install it anyway even
though it's not digitally signed. But it continues to ask that question.
Any ideas how to resolve this?

Thanks.
