Re: startup problems with windows xp pro

You will probably have to reset the boot order, in the Bios, to enable boot
from cd
sfc.dll error could, amongst other things, mean your system is compromised
with a virus

Hello everyone,
When i try to turn on my dell lattitude d 610 laptop, windows pro starts
normally but then i get two error messages
c:\windows\system32\odbcint.dll is not a valid windows image
c:\windows\system32\sfc.dll is not a valid windows image
I have try to restart it in safe mode, last known good config., etc.
i have even insert the windows pro disk.
It will not get past those two messages.
Any suggestions would be grateful
Thank you
Bobby
