hi this is in relation to a question i posted a couple of days ago.
i need the windows setup cd but i do not have it and cant borrow it off of
anyone i know is there sumwhere i can download it? i need it to fix a
corrupted registry to save the files on my computer without rebooting.
thanks
for any help.

If you just need to get into the Recovery Console, yes, you can use any
bootable XP CD. You're not installing anything from teh CD to the hard
disk, so there isn't really a license issue or file or key type
compatibility issue.

You can also perform the same tasks, via differing procedures, using Linux
boot disks or hosting the drive in another system.
