Jim, you probably got a choice between Delete and F1. Hit Delete next
time and enter the Bios. Set the Boot Disk order
to hard drive, cdrom and floppy last. Save the changes and Exit.

When I startup, it stops with the message "floppy disc failure Error 40".
By pressing F1, it will continue the startup process with no problem.
I didn't used to have this but has been going on now for about a month. I
can only startup by using F1 now.
What changed to cause this? And what is a floppy disc failure?
