Bob - "...Invalid boot diskette...." indicates system files are not
detected- meaning your HD is not being recognized.
As Philo suggests re-verify BIOS settings - also it is usually more
advantegous to leave boot order setting with CD drive first - with no CD in
drive boot order goes to HD.

I recently installed Norton Save and Restore 2.0 After changing the boot
start in the bios back to HDD from CD-ROM, I started the computer and
received a message: "Invalid boot diskette. Insert boot diskette in A."
Having no boot diskette, I installed the recovery CD and the computer
started properly, but it requires the recovery CD every time I wish to
boot.
Norton technical service disavows any knowledge or responsibility for this
problem.What do I have to do to have the computer boot without having the
recovery disk installed?
