My hard drive crashed and I need to re-install windows xp. My HP Pavilion
7975 came with XP pre-installed and did not include a backup disk. I
called
HP to let them know about my problem but they said that since my computer
is
obsolete, they cannot help me since they don't have any system disks
available any longer. They asked me to contact Microsoft to see how they
can
help me since I paid for my Windows XP. I do have the key, but I don't
know
how to go about contacting Microsoft since I am expected to pay $59 just
to
inquire about my problem. Please help. Thanks.
If all else fails you could try this place.
