Read in the manual of your router how to set up port forwarding.
Disabling the firewall will do you no good; re-renable it and set it up
properly to allow traffic to your ftp server as per the port forwarding
instructions in the manual.

hello
i have a setup were computers are connected to a central router which
the latter is then connected to an adsl modem. i am hosting an ftp on
one of these computers but for obvious reasons i cannot access it due
to the router's nat and firewall.
i have disabled firewall but nothing else...
what can i do to allow access to my ftp server? port forwarding?
thanks
