Re: pc becomes sluggish--IE 7 problem?

Tech-Archive recommends: Fix windows errors by optimizing your registry

It would help to know the size of your HD and how much free space is available.....how much RAM you have.
I assume you have run DiskCleanup......Chkdsk........Defrag.........Virus Scan........Cleaned out the IE cache.
How to help on any of these is available under start...help and support

Hi,
I'm having trouble identifying why my pc becomes sluggish and almost
unbearable to use. Could it be a problem w/ IE 7? Have there been any other
complaints of this nature? I have Windows XP. When this happens I do disk
clean-up and registry manager, but it happens so often that I find myself
spending more time than not performing these tasks.

How do I find out what's causing a problem keeping in mind that I'm not a
computer expert?

Thank you. If you need any addl information to help pinpoint the problem,
please ask.

Christina
