My daughters computer all of a sudden will not boot from either hard
disk or installation disk (XP Home) As soon as the computer says
loading windows it hangs.
(I get the windows window) The problem exists on all types of boots
(safe mode, last known good config, diag ...) It seems as though the
whole computer freezes (no blinking lights or noise from the hard
drive)
Did you configure your PC's BIOS to boot off the CD-ROM drive? See:
