Hi,
This happens too frequently and would like to resove this problem.
When I try to go into Standy, nothing happens on the screen (wait forever),
so I press the Power button for a second and then all the icons disappear
and I am left with the wallpaper. Still doesn't go any further (mouse is
dead) so I am forced to do a forced shutdown by holding the power button in
untill it shuts down instantly, which is not the way to turn a computer off.
Sometimes this will also initiate a Reboot after the forced shutdown.
Anyone had this problem? This also happened on a computer I just replaced
and now happening on this less than a week old Core2Duo computer.
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks, Bob
