I've got Java "J2SE Runtime Environment" on my XP Media Center with all
updates.
It seems like my PC is keeping all the old Java updates.
That is I have 5.010, 5.150, 6.919 and finally 9.119
Is there a reason not to remove the earlier updates, and just keep 9.119,
the latest?

It did slow the Java app down but it was still working even after all the updates were installed. ... seemed you never could think of every or replicate every situation to make sure you tested everything. ... Re: new iMac arrived today... ... detects the wireless network, I type in the WPA security key,... Grab the updates, including a firmware ... and uninstall trialware.... I can see how this would tax the limited abilities of a Mac... (comp.sys.mac.advocacy)
