RE: Monitor Screen Problems

Your instructions did not help. I have tried this before. Could there be
something wrong with my ATI card? I have hooked other monitors to my dell
8300, and I still have a problem with one half of the monitor screen (ie..
blurry and flickers). Thanks for your time

Check if you have the correct Resolution and Refresh Rate set for your
monitor. To do this:

1. Right-click on your Desktop and choose Properties
2. Click the Settings tab and then click Advanced button
3. Now, click the Adapter tab and then click List All Modes button
4. Here carefully try experimenting with different resolutions with
different Refresh rates. Check which when is best for your monitor. If
anytime your screen goes blank and doesn't come out then wait for 15 seconds
and it will revert to the previous resolution and refresh rate. E.g. 1024x768
- 60Hz is best for 17" CRT monitors.

Hope this help, let us know!
