Just call Dell. If it is under warranty - they certainly will assist you.

If it is not under warranty - it does sound like a hardware error - or
likely initially caused by a hardware error.

Turn off the computer, turn it on and press F12 to choose where to boot from
(as soon as you turn it on, start tapping F12 once per second to get a
menu) - boot from the Diagnostics Partition and run a full diagnostics on it
to test the hardware.
