Re: I have a huge problem with my computer; low Virtual Memory & S

Spyware won't cause some of the problems you are experiencing. For these
other problems try Ctrl+Alt+Delete to select Task Manager and click the
Performance Tab. Under Commit Charge what is the Total, the Limit and
the Peak?

How much RAM memory? Right click on the My Computer icon on your Desktop
and select Properties any you will find the information on the General
tab.

How large is your hard disk and how much free space. Right click on your
C drive in Windows Explorer and select Properties to get this
information.

Do you leave the computer on 24/7?

I don't know what's wrong with my computer.
I think it might be that recently I downloaded this free thing off
the Internet fora promotion.
Since then, I believe, my computer has been slow, and freezing up.

I removed the programs and I aslo ran a Norton Antivirus full
system scan and I have an Adaware spyware scan which I also
conducted; they resulted without any risks found.

Currently, my computer is really slow and evey now and then a pop
up bubble in the bottom right of my toolbar says that Windows
Virtual Memory is low. I also receive strange pop ups about my
computer being infected, and for me to download some sort of
Spyware software and this donload box pops up which I just close.
We never get pop ups and now it seems to occur frequently.

I am really worried because I don't know what's wrog and how to fix
it. If anyone is able to help I would be so thankful!
It's really disrupting my computer.
Thank you in advance!
