I found the bootlog and it had a lot of unable to load driver problems?
Anyone know how to fix that problem?
Thanks.

Not hd driver; possibly chipset driver & if you used winupdate for drivers
then you could have a whole host of driver problems

You could allways enable boot logging then check the log to see what is
taking time to load

What driver issue?
You mean for the second hard drive?
Should I look for a driver for the hard drive?

All my PC's have a starting progress bar - win2k & winxp pro - how long
it shows depends on what I have loading -

If your PC is taking a long time to load win, after installing a second
hd, then that might indicate a driver issue

Didn't work.
Any other ideas people?
Or should I go right to Microsoft and ask them?

Hey does anyone know how to get rid of the white progress bar that
shows up
during start up?
I have posted a message on a group on Microsoft but no one wants to
tell me
how to fix it. They say I must have done something wrong when I
installed my
second drive.
It started showing up after I started using a second hard drive. I
know of
others who have added drives just the same way I have. They don't
have to
wait 5-6 minutes because of the white progress bar.
I have the second drive setup as the slave drive and my first drive
is setup
as Master that's the drive Windows XP boots from.

Any ideas to get rid of the white bar other than unhooking the second
hard
drive?
Thanks,
