Hi,.... have WXP2 with IE7....had a power outage when I was surfin the
net,
power was restored moments later but my PC seems to be "hanging?". It

to be running hard but nothing happens.(light flicking rapidly). I cant

turn it off. SO.....I disconnected power then reconnected and it just

running again without actually startingup. Nothing on monitor. Any
ideas?...Hope its something simple ...like "Just hit the reset

If I was troubleshooting this problem I'd borrow an old PSU from somebody
and swap it with the one in my PC - if you're lucky it will just be a hosed
PSU.

If that doesn't work I'd disconnect all non-essential components (optical
drives, sound and video cards, etc) and try it again. If it works then plug
each component back in one at a time to identify which one is the culprit.
If it doesn't work I'd be suspecting a fried motherboard.

On the other hand I've never been that good at diagnosing hardware faults so
get advice from others here first.

Please don't go poking around in your PC case if you're not sure what you're
doing. You may make the problem worse, or more serious still kill yourself.
