As an alternative you could try http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/thunderbird/
Thunderbird can be configured in many ways, and also be enhanced with
extensions to suit your needs.
It is safe to install and have it import your email settings from Outlook
Express, both will function happily together. Just keep in mind that
email you receive in one, will not appear in the other unless you are
using IMAP based mailservices (in which case mail is -synchronised-
instead of retrieved and deleted from server.)

Is there a way to get Outlook Express to display the actual email
address along with the name? It tends to just display the name and hide
the actual email address.
