Sometimes I use Linux and there is one function that I really like.
When installing software which requires admin rights, it will pop up a
password box asking for the admin password while in a user account. Is
there a way to get windows to do the same thing. I am using a limited
user account, but having to log off and log back on is a bit of a pain
to just install some software. It would be nice if all I had to do was
just enter a admin password or some type of password to be able to
install the software.

Right click the installation file and select "Run as" from the menu. You should be able to enter the credentials of an adminstrative account.

Good luck

Thanks, I had forgotten about that since I never use it.
