In the first instance, there are about 2 or 3 different components that are
named, but every other entry in the log is identical to the second.
My webcam is a Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000, and it works perfectly in every
application I have need of it in.
Short of uninstalling the webcam software, does anyone have an idea how I
might get rid of all these errors? At each system startup there are about
50+ entries in the Application Event Log like the above.
I suspect that it's caused by something amiss in the Logitech software
installation, but I haven't a clue what it might be. Help and Support
contains no information on either of the Event IDs.

I think your best option is to uninstall the webCam, run disk cleanup and
Defrag in Safe mode then Download the latest software for the WebCam and
Install it.
As you can see the ShortCut is corrupt or Missing, but if your Web Cam is
working Okay when you launch it from Start >> All programs >> WebCam Icons.
Then you can Delete the ShortCut from the Desktop and create a New one from
the All programs Icon.
HTH.
