Hello,

maybe a stupid thought - but have you hidden the extensions for known file types (Explorer window -> Tools -> Folder options -> View -> uncheck "Hide extensions for known file types"?

It is not in my system32 folder in a recognizable form I.E. Does not have '.exe' However when I click start---run and type in dxdiag it runs.

Just an anomoly on my computer. It's not there in an .exe form. It's not in
the system 32 Directx folder. No problem. I just can't figure out why I
can't find it--nor can my desktop search find it.

Thanks, Don

Hello,

if I have understood correctly,
C:\windows\system32\dxdiag.exe
is the path you need.

Hope this helps.
