Re: Major Lagging-help!

So the first thing to do is remove that bloated piece of software called
Norton..............and do a google got AVG or Avast both free anti virus
programs.
Then have a look at task manager and see what exactly is running...,,,Open
Start/Run type in Msconfig and see whats starting..........
Once you have determined what those programs are then you need to determine
if you actually need them to startup....or run in the background.
let us know

I am having some issues with my daughter's computer-it LAGS so bad. It
had some lagging issues before but after I put Norton's IS on it-it has
gotten WORSE!! When I check task manager-the system and system idle
processes are completely out of whack. The CPU is running at 95-100% a
good deal of the time and I am at a loss as to what to do about it.
When I say lag-that is just what I mean!! HELP!!!!!
