Tell your friend to check the Ram for proper seating as well as the Video
Card and all the Connectors are firmly in place.

after having messages that the existing hard drive is running out of space
my
friend installed an extra hard drive to his computer, he's using xp pro.
He
tried to boot the computer up and it would not. Thinking he had made some
mistake installing it he took the exra hard drive out and tried to reboot
again but still no luck. He has two partions on his origanal hard drive
but
as soon as he selects one of them or even if he manages to get teh the F8
menu to start in safe mode etc it reboots again. Any ideas as to what is
going on? Has he broke the computer completly? Any help would be grately
appreciated. Thanks in advance
