install now. They appear to download but when the install runs it states that
thwese update were not installed, which appear to be all of them. This cycle
has run for a few days since doing the repair install and I'm wondering what
"bug" is preventing them from installing. H-E-L-P.
With which Service Pack level did you do the repair install? I seem
to recall an experience that I had when I repaired an XP with a XP
install CD below the actual Service Pack level that was already
installed on the hard drive. Windows Updates are "supposed" to only
be "permitted" starting with a Sevice Pack version (SP1???)
