Try uninstalling Norton/Symantec

My PC works fine for an hour after turning it on, but then suddenly starts
slowing to the point of almost doing nothing. It makes no difference which
programs are being used, whether you stop using programs altogether. The
only
option is to restart the pc for another hour of use.
A few weeks ago I used Automatic Update to install some updates and
somehow
my pc worked perfectly after that, faster than before and never slowing.
But
then Auto Update installed more updates and the pc slows again like it did
before. I tried System Restore to before the updates but that didn't work.
I
also tried uninstalling Explorer 7 but that didn't help either.
When it slows, the Task Manager window says it's using 100% of the CPU
usage, but there are no programs on there and the only process that seems
to
be using a massive amount of CPU is ccSvcHst.exe. I don't know what that
is.
I've gotten rid of all the processes I do know, such as processes for
programs, but that didn't help.
Please help!
