Re: No Script Engine for the file extension ".js"

You can reinstall/upgrade the scripting engine by downloading "Windows Script 5.7 for Windows XP" from here:

I downloaded a 30 day trial from Adobe, for "Dreamweaver," while in the
browser, Internet Explorer. I don't want it, so I removed it, using
add/remove programs . After the removal, I get this error message...(little
windows keep popping up all the time, over and over, it's driving me crazy).
"Windows Host, No script engine for the file extension ".js"
So, I reinstalled the Adobe 30 day trial, and the error messages are gone.
How can I fix this???
Adobe won't help me, and Microsoft support says it's an XP problem, not an
Internet Explorer problem.
