Adding to Mike Excellent Advice check for malware if that App is not good:
1... First, try to clean up your caches, Internet files and delete cookies
by doing this:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced
Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies.
Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box.
Then click on Programs Tab and click Manage Add-Ons and Disable all non
Verified Add-Ons (You should Renable them later one-by-one and see the
culprit and update it or remove it.

After doing that and removing this app run Disk Clean Up and Defrag in Safe
then Run this Command:
sfc /scannow click [OK] you will need your XP CD handy to insert it if
prompted to do so by the sys.

Download the game again and install it then Uninstall, may be the installer
corrupted:

If still try to remove it manually by doing this:
Open windows explorer and locate it under this path:
C:\Program Files\popcap\gamename.exe <= Shift + Delete to bypass the Bin.
Then Open a search engine ( the local search engine on your computer and
search for other files/folders left and Delete them.
