Hi. I've installed Norton Antivirus 2006 and now my computer is
messed up.
Welcome to the club
My Outlook Express gives me an error (....MSOE.dll cannot
be found....), my Kodiak Picture program doesn't work and ALL my files
and folders cannot be deleted - the ready only attribute or archive
attribute is set on them all and when I uncheck it, it comes back
automatically. I've uninstalled Norton's and everything works fine.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem is? I need to
install Norton's again.
No you don't, and as a matter of fact, I strongly recommend *against*
doing so. In my view, and in the view of many of us here, Norton
Anti-Virus is the single *worst* antivirus product on the market.
There are several better choices, and many of them are completely
free. I recommend the freeware Avast! at www.avast.com
