Outlook Express Inbox lost

I can't find another newsgroup to post this on.

I have suddenly lost everything in my Outlook Express Inbox. I have all
the folders, and all the stuff in "Sent Items" and "Deleted Items," but the
Inbox should have a couple of hundred messages -- instead there are none.
Where would they be?
