Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

[hammaz001]s message :
I was on the internet one day when my computer detected that it had been infected with spyware. One of it's repsonses was to change the background and barre me from changing it. I have since installed numerous items of software to eliminate and protect against spyware but I am still unable to change my desktop wallpaper. Does anyone know what the problem is and if so, can they direct help?
