I use WinXP with Office97 and it works just fine. Your reply,
besides being to damn narrow, is total bull poop! I would

Downgrade OS, indeed. ::shaking head::
was a piece of cake to get it to install on base XP and it stayed
running OK when I upgraded to SP1. But, when I got a new PC built
and installed SP2 on it, it was a major chore to get Office 97 to
install at all. I did manage it, but I would definitely buy a newer
version if I build another PC. I don't do anything very fancy so
the old stuff works just fine but there's no point trying to spit
into a strong wind with software that old if and when I do build a
new PC with Vista on it.
