You might try some of the things listed here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308260
Like uninstalling and reinstalling some applications/software that may have
become corrupted. Like java, flash, adobe, activeX stuff, anti-virus
program, IE, media players, directX, .NET frameworks, etc...Try
resetting/manipulating Internet security zone settings. First, try whats on
the microsoft website.
Look in event veiwer for possible related errors.
Its a definant bug somewhere as I get IE script errors running WMP11 with
the notify every script error turned off in internet settings. I switched to
Winamp and K-lite. No more errors.

As a further note, I have tried the Microsoft Genuine Advantage
Diagnostics
Site. It tells me my scripting is turned off, even thought it is turned
on
(according to my security settings).

I am not sure, but I think my problems started with the latest Windows
automatic update. I am having problems using certain websites (like this
one). I cannot access/manipulate draw down screens, dialog boxes, etc.
I am also having major problems with a host of programs. I cannot run
System Restore (I get a blank dialog box), Mcaffe (blank dialog box),
Norton
System Works (Internet Explorer script errors) to name a few. I have
disabled the script error notification in IE but so far the problems
persist.
Please help!!!!
Thanks in advance.
