Hi,

I have a two year old Dell Inspiron 600m.
I am receiving the message, No bootable devices found-Press F1 to
retry, F2 to enter setup message.

When I press F2, I see the following listed under primary hard drive:
60GB.

Also, I tried starting using recovery console and did

copy _registry_machine_software c:\windows\system32\config\software
AND
copy _registry_machine_system c:\windows\system32\config\system

but no use I get the same message. I would really appreciate it if
someone could help me out with possible suggestions.

Thanks
A

If pressing F1 fails to boot and pressing shows the drive in the BIOS setup, press
F12 and select the drive to see if it will boot.
If it won't boot select the Diagnostics after pressing F12. You may have the option
to test the drive(s) in the F12 menu, if not select the Utility partition to run
diagnostics.
