My motherbaord doesn't seem to have a damn key combo for going into

I asked the wrong question before but....
I need to know the key to press to force [from cold boot] the
computer to load XP into safe mode.
F5-F8 only gives a menu choice of which device to boot to, no safe
mode options like previous motherboards I have used.
It's a ASUS A8S-X board.
thanks
[sorry for being a complete ASS earlier, got my junk messed up]
Safe Mode is not determined by your motherboard - unless (for whatever
reason) you do not have access to your keyboard before Windows XP loads?
Perhaps you have a PS2 machine and are using a USB keyboard or perhaps you
have a KVM between your computer and the keyboard...
Your motherboard has nothing to do with Windows XP Safe Mode beyond giving
you access to your keyboard. Beyond that - safe mode is a feature of the OS
being loaded from your hard disk drive.
