Access Denied

I recently had to reinstall windows, and my computer has a nifty
option to back up all the MY DOcuments Folder in a file called C:\My
backup. Instead of being allowed to access these files, I was denied
access to the Owner (admin account I used)'s folder, even though I am
an Administrator.
