RE: Send error message

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Nass
I did all the things that you advised. Unfortunately with no success. I
did the hijackthis and sent the report to the forum. The man replied and
gave me a few instructions to which i followed. The problem was still there.
His reply to that was to do a system restore. Which i have attempted to do
numerous times now and for some reason the system will not let me do that
either. I have tried it going back to numorous dates but it won't allow me
to.

Any advice (sorry)?

I expected something like this, because you denied the permissions to
Administer your Computer and this the sign for infection.
First try uninstall in Safe Mode and scan also for Viruses from an on-line
scanner and download some tools to scan.
Scan from here for the Worm:

Removal Tool from Norton from here:

Run a scan from here online:

Download Avast Cleaner from here:

Please Run the HijackThis and send the report to one of many forums for
assistance as it isn't allow to analyse the log here.

Also it is best if you provided more Info about the Anti-virus, Firewall and
Do you have messenger, limewire, iTunes, games online...etc.

Another to try to delete the whole folder is to open windows explorer and
locate the Folder for Drive cleaner and SHIFT + DELETE, still you will not
get rid of it completely but it will loosen its grip on the computer!.

***// Note if you are uncomfortable and not sure with editing the registry
do go ahead as it can render your system useless if you perform it in the
wrong way//***
4= Open a Run Command and type in:
regedit.exe click [K]
On the Registry Editor locate these Keys and Note the entries and Remove it
if you are sure it is infected:

[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run = look
here for the running processes for drivecleaner and remove the suspicious
ones.

[-]HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run =

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce= look
in the Right

Also start with Clean Boot by opening a Run Command and type in:

Thanks so much for your help and advice. I tried to uninstall the
Drivecleaner but it will not allow me to. I go into control panel,
Add/remove, then go to the drive cleaner and click on remove. That message
then comes up again the same one from start up. I clicked on cancel to that,
then it asks if i want to remove it and all its component. I clicked on yes,
then the it just crashed. I had to Cnt,Alt Del for task manager. It said
not responding so i ended the task and tried again another 3 times and the
same thing is happening.

Im such a pain i know sorry.

Hi Emma,
Please Uninstall the Drive Cleaner, you don't need it at all, you have
Windows Clean Up Utility that do a better Job for you!.
Scan for Malwares and Viruses on your system , my feeling your security and
control over the machine compromised by somehow?, so scan for Viruses and
Delete all traces for this Drive Cleaner.
Best if you download the HijackThis and send the Log to the forum for
analysis and help from expert there.
Do these steps one-by-one:
1... First, try to clean up your caches, Internet files and delete cookies
by doing this:
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Double click Network and Internet
Connections >> Double click Internet Options.
On the IE properties windows you will see these Taps:
General | Security | Privacy | Content | Connections | Programs |
Advanced
Under General Tab clear your History, Internet Files and Cookies.
Then click on Advanced tab and scroll down to under the Browsing Option:
[&] Browsing
[ ] Enable Third-Party browser extensions (Req Rest) uncheck this box.
Then click on Programs Tab and click Manage Add-Ons and Disable all non
Verified Add-Ons (You should Renable them later one-by-one and see the
culprit and update it or remove it.
For Malwares download both these software:
http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad-aware_se_personal.php
http://www.safer-networking.org ; for Spybot S&D

2- Download the Hijackthis and send the report to one of many
forums for analysis and troubleshooting:
When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. Post
your log to http://aumha.net/viewforum.php?f=30,
http://castlecops.com/forum67.html,
http://forums.subratam.org/index.php?showforum=7, or other appropriate
forums for expert analysis, not here.
Please perform one step (1,2) at a time and see if that will help your
issue.
Please tell us about the Name of that worm next time in your message.

By the way this is not MS Send Error Report from the wording you provided it
sound Fishy to me do send any report, just clean the machine, do you have
Anti-virus and Firewall on your computer?.
HTH.
Please let us know.

Hi

Thanks for your reply. I tried to do as you said and typed in eventvwr.msc.
It then said that MMC would not let me access it. This is the full message
that I get when I start up my computer:
Product Supporter
report error details

CRITICAL INTERGRATION ERROR OCCURED
a possible reason for this error is unauthorised memory sharing by the
applications installed on this system. Try rebooting the system to solve the
issue. The report you send will be anoymous and will help our quality
assurance department.

I have just lost the message and will have to turn back off again if you
require more. There isn't much more below it. I did try to Copy and paste
it but it wouldn't allow me to. Do you need more or is there enough info.
Sorry as I am not that good with computers, but I am trying to learn.

A little more info is that my husband recently installed Drive cleaner onto
the system and the problem has been since then. Could this be part of the
problem. He is worse with computers than me (if thats possible).
