I'm running xp home sp2. I have an acer aspire 3618AWLCi. What i want
to do is have an XP Cd like the one you get from a shop or a new pc. my
computer did not come with one of these. i do not want to just put
windows back to its factory condition. i want all the options that come
with an original.
Can anyone help me to do this, i need to change my system files back
and it says i need the cd for it. any help would be appreciated.

Ron Martell's suggestion is a good one. I bought one where the seller sold
the cd only without a key but assured me that it would with the key on the
side of my PC (bottom of laptop). He was right. It did work: cost $39.00 US
including shipping.
