some attachments are from email outlook express- documents (forms) sent
from
friends from a website...another is a questionaire i am retrieving from a
website...both produce same result...asks if i want to open...briefly
displays downloading of file, and back to question (and menu) for opening
file...i know i hit something yesterday in trying to print the
questionaire,
but can't figure out what i did...

If this is in Outlook Express, try going to Tools, Options, Security, and
de-selecting "do not allow attachments to be opened"

the file download menu keeps popping back up when i push "open" to an
attachment...it briefly shows the green downloading menu working, then
returns to "open" "save" or "cancel" menu...help!

And precisely WHERE is this attachment? You do need to give a modicum of
basic information - we don't have crystal balls here to see what is
happening....
