Hello,
Did you move and release the mouse accidentally while selecting the files to
delete?
XP interprets this as a "file copy" and will make a copy of the files into
the current folder.
It has been a issue for many users, the 'workaround' is to select the
file[s] carefully and with a stable hand.

Can somebody help me?? PLEASE????? Suddenly when I try to delete files
from My Documents (click to highlight, delete,) it accepts the delete
but then copies the file immediately. I am trying to clear up my
computer by deleting these files, but iI now have endless copies. What
can I do?? I don´t have Norton installed but do have Kaspersky Anti
Virus installed. Someone told me if I removed this program the problem
would be solved!!!! I´M CONFUSED. Thanks to anyone who can help.
